And then we were 15!

As we approach the start of our Autumn programmes we have reached a significant milestone as an organisation. We are now 15 in the team! We are all too often so busy doing the doing that it’s important to take a moment to reflect on all that we are achieving.

This month we held our first ever Inset Day at Burges Salmon (a huge thank you as ever for gifting us the space as it is so special to be in a neutral space to really take a moment to take stock!). Last term we reflected on how we're very much in the school rhythm, so it would make sense to have inset days too, ahead of programmes restarting.

The aim of WWL has always been to recruit from graduates of the Programme to ensure that we are always leading with our Mums voices and because frankly they are an incredibly talented group of super women. With Magda joining the Talent team as the Talent Communications Assistant we now have seven graduates meaning an almost 50/50 split. When we started WWL back in 2019 this is what we always dreamed of.

Now it’s time to focus all our energy on our new Mums who will be joining us on four different programmes across the South West including Bristol. South Glos, Bridgwater and Weston-super-Mare. That means by the end of this year we will have supported nearly 500 Mums back into work.
